摘要
Cross Sector Partnerships are heralded as a key to solving complex development challenges. With reference to the analysis of fourteen projects implemented in Uttar Pradesh, India, this research develops a Composite Value Creation Framework to advance the understanding of Bridging Organizations and their role in creating innovative sustainable development partnerships. The research shows that Bridging Organizations capable of convening, negotiating, mediating and trust building and able to design and execute strategic interventions can effectively combine the strengths of different stakeholders to produce partnerships with positive social outcomes, and that, in the Uttar Pradesh context, played a critical role in building trust, improving policies and changing mind sets.
