摘要
As Unmanned Maritime Systems (UMSs) become commonplace in the defense, industrial, academic, and hobby domains, they will encounter unexpected endogenous and exogenous disruptions that affect their ability to satisfy their mission. To mitigate the effect of these disruptions on the system before development, resilience needs to be considered during the development of these systems. This paper introduces Unmanned Maritime Systems and their high level characteristics, introduces resilience and applications to Engineered Systems, discusses important resilience attributes of Unmanned Maritime Systems, and concludes with recommendations for further research.
