Synergic Relationship between Foreign Direct Investment and Industrial Structure in China

Since the reform and opening, with access and expansion of foreign direct investment (FDI), China's industrial structures have changed. In China, FDI and the evolution of industrial structure, foreign capital structure and industrial structure are all affected for one another. This paper discusses the distribution of foreign direct investment and its impact on the industrial structure through a review of the relationship between foreign direct investment, the national economy, industrial structure and the countermeasures. We will then put forward the suggestions on enhancing foreign FDI synergy with adjusting industrial structure.
