摘要
The functionalities of various web service security are discussed. Web services send data in XML format, enabling applications to display data locally by adding style and formatting. The XML Security Assertion Mark-up Language (SAML) allow federation partners to make decision regarding a subject's identity, attributes, and entitlements to other entities, such as partner companies. Data requesters can use SAML assertions to encode an authorization request to access information via Wen services. Web Services Trust language (WS-Trust), an OASIS (Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standard), provide a protocol for requesting the creation or validation of security tokens from a security token service (STS). It enable federations to create an independent STS to manage their Web services such as travel-reservation system.
