摘要
Data for 611 young persons released from juvenile prison in Bavaria were analyzed, using information on reincarceration. About one third of those released on parole and of those who had served their full term returned to prison within a period of almost two years after release, younger persons (below 18) much more frequently than older persons (21 and older). Gender and migration background had no effects. Correlations between reincarceration and biographical strain and treatment needs confirm the predictive relevance of many of these factors and support the use of reincarceration data as useful indicators of recidivism. Subsequent analyses on the effects of correctional actions and programs are outlined.
