LIBRARIES AS SUPPORT CENTERS FOR LATINO IMMIGRANT WOMEN IN THE UNITED STATES

The demography in the United States of America (USA) is changing and we can see how the Latino community is growing. Motivated by different circumstances, many Latino women decide to move to USA. These women have the same rights as the people who were born here, however they have more challenges like the language, and the lack of knowledge about the governmental process to obtain their green cards. In this article, the author presents how libraries give services according to the diverse population in each county to meet immigrants' necessities. The article includes some projects created to help immigrants and explains how the Latino women can have access to them.
