摘要
The aim of this study is to investigate the role of psychological resilience and social connectedness in relationship between perceived psychological maltreatment and subjective well-being among Adolescents. The participants of the study consist of 1247 high school students in Denizli. Data was collected through Child and Youth Resilience Scale, Social Connectedness Scale, Psychological Maltreatment Scale, Positive and Negative Affect Schedule and Satisfaction with Life Scale. The relationships among the variables were analyzed through Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Research findings show that psychological maltreatment is negatively correlated with subjective well-being, social connectedness and psychological resilience. The results of mediation analysis show that social connectedness has a partial mediating role in the relationship between psychological maltreatment and psychological resilience. The findings also show that psychological resilience plays a full mediating role in the relationship between psychological maltreatment and subjective well-being. The findings of the study are discussed in line with the relevant literature and some suggestions are provided for both researchers and practitioners.
