摘要
The aim of this work is to make a critical study of post-modern art education and the Art Thinking methodology developed by Maria Acaso. The method used is the analysis and counter-argumentation from the review of her theoretical and practical work. With her methodology, this author aims to transform education through art and art through education. Her educational revolution has a clear romantic and post-modern basis because art appears as a model for education and the artist as a model of the creative and Dionysian teacher. The teacher conceives teaching as a creative act that is not coerced by the paralyzing frameworks of reason. As we try to demonstrate and conclude, in Art Thinking aesthetics and subjectivity have replaced art and knowledge, and the critical element is a quality to valorize a model of kitsch art education.
