Russia's New Strategy on Africa

The accumulated experience of Soviet-African cooperation is analyzed, and the existing possibilities of using it to strengthen the economic and political positions of Russia on the African continent are demonstrated. According to the authors, this will help Russia to become one of the five largest economies in the world, ensuring high rates of economic growth and creating in the basic branches of the economy, primarily in the manufacturing industry and the agroindustrial complex, a highly productive export-oriented sector, developing on the basis of modern technologies and provided with highly qualified personnel.
