摘要：

The internationalization of higher education presents challenges and opportunities for industrialized countries. Within the logic of power, universities in central nations dominate the scenario in attracting students from all over the world. Meanwhile, Latin America shows itself with limited and mostly regional recruiting capacity; Argentina is not the exception. Using secondary data, the objective of this work is to inquire about the internationalization processes in Argentina in relation to the flow of students and researchers. We first present an approach to the multiple definitions of the concept, to then describe the main policies developed by governmental agencies. Different dimensions linked to student mobility and the internationalization of scientific production are analyzed through statistical data that account for the phenomena under study.
