Analysis of water losses in two municipal water supply systems

摘要：
Two municipal water supply systems in Malopolska pro vince were analyzed for their efficiency. In particular, the tech. conditions of the water supply network, water loss reasons and financial standing were taken into consideration. One of the systems was inefficiently menaged and showed low reliability of water supply as well as high le akage and failure frequency. Some measures for reconstruction of the system, exchange of its equipment and piping as well as permanent monitoring water leakages were recommended.
