摘要
Taking as a starting point the fact that technology will displace Accounting, various academic publications were reviewed, in which the authors support the thesis that the Accountant will no longer be useful in the future. We have been able to observe that, although it is true, the current Accountant will not be able to overcome the technology, this same technology will give Accounting a turnaround forcing it to restructure itself and adapt to the new world situation. If it does not adapt, it is condemned to die. The Accountant has all the weapons and capability to make changes in its discipline, as long as he has a broader vision of his environment and how the company should become aware of the social aspects. We believe that the profession of Accountant has a very promising future, as long as it achieves the adaptation that the world requires of it.
