摘要：
The exploration and production of hydrocarbons is steadily progressing into deeper and deeper waters. Currently development plans are being made for projects in waterdepths exceeding 3000 in. This large range of waterdepths in which anchors are used, results in the requirements for an anchor being different for shallow and deep water locations. This paper will focus on the selection of anchors for shallow and deep water environments and present a way for the anchors to be installed.
