摘要：
in the presence of SOCl2/EtOH as a catalyst, various substituted chalcones are synthesized by aldol condensation. The HCl is generated in situ by the reaction of SOCl2 with absolute ethanol. (C) 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
