A Comparative Study on the Contributions of Insurance and Financial industry to China's Economic Development

I-O analysis method is to study the I-O relationships between various parts of the economic system by compiling the I-O table or establishing the corresponding mathematical model. We compile 43-industry tables based on I-O tables of 29 years from 1992 to 2020. We also calculate the response coefficient and influence coefficient, etc., to compare the insurance industry and financial industry's differences of the contributions to China's economic development. Finally, the introduction of social network analysis, from the overall point of view, explores the financial industry, the insurance industry and their relationships with other industries, observing and summarizing China's industrial structure problems more intuitively.
