摘要：

On the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Department of Dermatology Jena this article sheds light on the historical development of the house in the different political systems of the last century as well as the current situation of the clinic as part of the University Hospital Jena. Various clinicians in the past have shaped the house's focus on therapy and research, focusing on topics such as phototherapy, autoimmune diseases, dermatooncology, andrology, and biomaterials research. The University Department of Dermatology combines not only high-quality patient care and teaching, but also extensive research activities.
