摘要
Active Noise Control (ANC) is a technology for reducing low frequency noise. It finds applications in aerospace, automobile, Industry and Medical arena. Literature has a wide variety of adaptive signal processing algorithms for addressing various ANC problems. However, while designing practical systems it is very much essential to tune the adaptive filter based on the environment to achieve good performance. This paper proposes to develop a systematic procedure for practical ANC system design. To demonstrate the success of this procedure, ANC system development and its evaluation for a practical application is taken as a case study.
