摘要
UML Profiles provided automotive software designers a way to customize the UML to their particular domain and purpose. In this paper, we fulfill the demand for a suitable profile for In-vehicle Infotainment and Telematics domain by sketching a UML profile for Human Machine Interface applications. The HIT-profile classifies different application and framework components, and enables their mapping to framework APIs. The profile concentrates on the structure of HMI application and framework interfaces, and utilizes UML 2.1 standard for the behavioral modeling.
