摘要
The study was meant to examine the young people's attitudes towards the disabled. It may prove inspirational in seeking answers to questions like how to guide the young people to understanding that one's existence can become truly meaningful only when one is ready to help other people. The study was conducted among 1000 Polish high school graduates (18-19 years of age). The research included, among other, four questions regarding different aspects of the problem of disability. The young people surveyed were in favour of integrating the disabled into the society. A tendency was shown that the majority of the respondents were especially in favour of integration in the place of residence and during leisure time; fewer respondents supported integration in schools and in the workplace.
