摘要
The physical optics-shooting and bouncing rays (PO-SBR) method is very efficient for the prediction of electromagnetic scattering of electrically large objects. With OptiX, a graphics processing unit (GPU) ray-tracing library, the authors have optimized PO-SBR method for single frequency. However, another typical application to synthetic aperture radar (SAR) requires numerous frequency points. This paper discusses some implementation details to accelerate the shooting and bouncing rays (SBR) process in the PO-SBR method for multiple frequencies. Great performance is achieved on the GPU.
