摘要
The cooling water project and thermal pollution of HL Power plant are studied by both the mathematical and physical models. The best outlet-intake scheme is given and the temperature of cooling water of the plant and the areas of thermal pollution an studied seas are predicted. Furthermore, the methods of numerical simulation and model experiment are discussed in detail, and the differences between the calculated and experimental results are enumerated and the reasons affecting the differences are analyzed in detail. These conclusions and calculative and experimental methods in the paper are of universal significance for cooling water projects of tidal currents, and are also valuable for the study of diffusion of other waste water in bays or estuaries.
