摘要：
Pain is subjective and it is an individual experience. The consequences are important for the individuals. In the case of mentally ill patients, pain is difficult to perceive, and insensitivity in schizophrenic patients has been suggested. There is no specific tool for evaluation of pain in mental health. However, pain exists in mentally ill patients, and specific language or behavioral changes should suggest pain; therefore, evaluation tools should be adapted for psychiatric patients.
