摘要：
Globalization makes the perspective of the analysis of industrial upgrading shift from global commodity chain (GCC) and global value chain (GVC) to global production network (GPN). Based on the review of industrial upgrading analysis in GCC/GVC approach, this paper concentrates on the new meaning of industrial upgrading in GPN framework, which connects economic upgrading with social upgrading together. Based on the survey of Ningbo apparel industry, the paper indicates the upgrading trajectory of China apparel industry in GPN. The investigation shows that there is relationships between economic upgrading and social upgrading.
