摘要
A numerical method based on Dirichlte-to-Neumann (DtN) map for calculating the band gaps of two-dimensional (2D) phononic crystals with mixed solid and fluid components is presented. It is applied to a triangular lattice of circular solid cylinders in a fluid matrix, for which the conventional plane wave expansion method may fail due to different wave modes in the solid and fluid. The DtN map is constructed by using the cylindrical function expansions. Linear eigenvalue problems are formulated, from which the band structures can be determined. Two numerical examples are illustrated to show the efficiency of present method.
