Effects of anthracite replacing coke breeze on iron ore sintering

摘要
As the proportion of anthracite coal in fuel was increased, the permeability of sinter bed tended to decrease resulting lower sinter productivity. Lower production yield and higher fuel rate in sintering with more anthracite coal was ascribed to the decreased number density of heat source particles in addition to the lower heat value. A little smaller particle size for anthracite coal than that of coke breeze to increase its number density would be beneficial for sintering performances.
