A basic study on wave absorber possessed of sound absorption for C band

摘要
Sound and electromagnetic wave absorber was designed for based on actual sound absorber used for a sidewall of Japanese highway. Polyethylene sheet included carbon particles as dielectric material was layout behind of glass wool and air layer. As a result, sound and wave absorber having a good absorption over 20dB at designed frequency and perpendicular incidence was obtained.
