Opinion classification for Chinese movie reviews

In the face of abundant Sentiment information resources day by day on the web, how one can obtain and utilize the information fast and effectively is becoming a question that people pay close attention to. This paper gives an example, which is about sentiment mining in the field of Chinese movie reviews. And in this example, we use an information mining technique, which is based on semantic orientation. The semantic orientation approach is popular when applied to English sentiment mining while seldom used in Chinese sentiment mining. And on the grounds of analysis of this example, we can also get something about the effect semantic orientation approach has on web sentiment mining of Chinese reviews.
