摘要：
On 26 Feb 2013, the Patients' Rights Act (a law to improve patients' rights) went into effect. The previous case law for medical treatment contracts was used as the basis for the Patients' Rights Act. It was introduced into the German Civil Code of the "Subtitle 2 treatment contract." In eight additional paragraphs the rights and obligations of the treatment contract are summarized for patients and medical doctors/dentists.
