摘要
The purpose of this grounded theory study was to gain a better understanding of what case management supervisors perceive as the characteristics of effective case management and supervision. The authors explored approaches to case management and supervision from the perspective of twenty case manager supervisors in Wisconsin's long-term support network. The study focused on learning, from the supervisors' views, the characteristics of effective supervision and what circumstances (resources, environment, oversight, skills, and experience) they identified as exerting the greatest influence on their ability to supervise.
