摘要
This article discusses the importance of proximity in the journalistic production that circulates in social networks, through the newspapers fanpages. From the studies that think relevant criteria to identify what is news in traditional formats, this research observes what producers select and how readers interact with the content, according to proximity, in social digital networks. The research analyses the journalistic production for Facebook by nine Brazilian regional newspapers, from the Northeast region. A total of 9,993 posts were analyzed, based on the analysis of the journalistic content, identifying the coverage: local, regional, national and international. The results show three important issues that are discussed in the article: the difference between vehicles in terms of published content, the "nationalization" of regional newspaper fanpages and the predominance of comments in local posts.
