Injectable PolyAcrilAmid (PAA) gel in the aesthetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery

The author refers to his personal experience in the use of polyacrilamid gel in some aesthetic, plastic and reconstructive operations. The manipulation is done under local anaesthesia and general analgesia. The gel is injected into certain areas by a special needle. The aesthetic effect achieved is very good, which also has a high psychological value. PAA-gel is non toxic, not allergenic, not terratogenic, not carcinogenic; has no embriotoxic and mutagenic activity, does not act haemodynamic disturbances; doesn't move, does not undergo fragmentation, resorbtion or rejection; does not form calcifications; has a "soft tissue like" softness and excellent tolerance by the tissue.
