摘要
A novel method of target detection based on the multi-resolution of wavelet transform and improved watershed algorithm is put forward in the paper The wavelet transform is capable of compressing the image and detecting its mutation. The improved watershed algorithm can greatly separate the target from complicated background. Experiments indicate the superiority combination of two algorithms can alleviate the noise problem, moreover, comparing with the original image processing, the computation cost and algorithm complexity efficiently reduce, and the detect speed greatly improve. The method can satisfy the requests of the dynamic target detection and tracking in the shooting range.
