摘要：
The evaluation of technical and nontechnical losses is essential for utilities due to their impacts on the efficiency of the systems, energy tariffs, and utility revenue. To reduce the losses, many utilities are supporting the installation of smart meters. This paper presents a real case of application of smart metering data for evaluation of energy loss in low voltage distribution systems. This evaluation relies on real measurements from distribution transformers and customer smart meters. Inaccurate and missing data in measurement and network databases are among the main challenges faced to accomplish this task.
