De-noising of Medical images using Iterated Hybrid Filters

摘要
The medical images like ultrasound, CT scan and MRI are captured by different medical devices which contain Gaussian noise. These Gaussian noises reduce the image quality and information. This paper proposes a de-noising algorithm, iterated hybrid filtering techniques, for the removal of speckle noise from medical images. The performance of the proposed algorithm is compared with quantitative measures such as RMSE and PSNR values.
