摘要
Supporting networked multimedia applications with quality constraints has evoked much interest in recent years. While much work has been done to provide abstract Quality of Service (QoS) guarantees for such applications, relating such guarantees to perceived quality has not been well researched. In this paper, we describe a model that relates offered quality to end-user perception (in terms of loss spread), and show how the model can be used in QoS provisioning.
