摘要
Otoacoustic Emissions are of clinical interests due to their relation with the function of the peripheral auditory system. In this paper, a procedure is proposed for localizing hearing loss region on the basis of clinically detected transient-evoked otoacoustic emission (TEOAE). The continuous wavelet transform is utilized to decompose the TEOAE, and the Root Mean Square of each wavelet scale is treated as the quantitative criterion for the localization. The results obtained by this method are consistent reasonably well with that by audiogram and DPGRAM. The work described in this paper provides a clinically useful method for the analysis of TEOAEs.
