摘要
A constitutive model for the simulation of metal powder compaction is presented. The yield surface; now rules and density evolution equations are derived from reported experimental work. The model, using a Drucker-Prager cap formulation, combines a density evolving shear yield surface and a consolidation yield surface. Integration of the constitutive equations is carried out using a standard Euler Backward integration scheme. The model was implemented as a User-Material Subroutine in the general purpose finite element program ABAQUS. Results for simulations of simple tests are presented.
