In his critically acclaimed bestseller, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Stephen Covey strongly advocates taking time for renewal at different levels. This presentation touches on intellectual, social and spiritual renewal as reasons for continuing to learn and grow as translators, and gives suggestions on how to keep abreast of what is going on in the profession through formal education and while living and working as a translator.
