Social sciences and theories of subjectivity

Theoretical thinking about social reality starts in close connection with anthropological concepts which provide psychological explanations. During their professionalization the social sciences began to keep distance to this kind of justification. Instead they developped on their own theories of subjectivity. These theories tend to be mono-logical and anti- psychological constructions. This leads to a reduction of the multiple logic of psychic processes and to incapability in order to contact modern psychological theories. This affects the possibilities to build up a differentiated concept of subjectivity inside social sciences.
