摘要
Because plastics flow and are formable at low temperatures, plastics manufacturing relies more on near-net-shape processes than on subtractive material-removal processes so commonly used with metals. But plastic parts are trimmed or machined all the time, although the corresponding methods and their parameters constitute a lesser-known art.
