摘要：
Worldwide refining industry trends are analyzed in order to estimate the future catalyst market. The analysis was carried out taking into account the world refining processing capacity rate of growth between 1997-2000, the historic evolution of the refining catalyst market and the 2000-2005 plans of constructions of new oil refineries and processes units. The impact of the environmental restrictions on the refining and catalyst industries and the new catalyst developments are also discussed.
