CHLORIDE PENETRATION IN CONCRETE OF HARBOR ENGINEERING AFTER LONG-TERM EXPOSURE

摘要
Chloride diffusion coefficient derived from chloride profiles is an important tool in durability design and lifespan prediction in de-icing salt and marine environments. The concrete cores with diameter of 100mm were drilled from a pier and a wave-prevent dam after 26 years and 21 year exposure respectively. The original information and environment condition were analyzed, the contents of chloride from the cores were measured, the properties of diffusion coefficient of concrete were evaluated, influence of materials and environments to chloride distribution were analyzed. The results show that the decline of chloride diffusion coefficient is rapid, local environment strongly influences the forms of chloride profiles in outer region of concrete, it is nearly identical for chloride distribution in inner region and it is dominated by macro-environment.
