Fuzzy clustering and time-frequency approach for fault diagnosis

摘要
A method integrating two very different approaches (fuzzy modeling and lime-frequency analysis) is proposed in this paper. regarding the general problem of fault diagnosis by using vibrations. The fuzzy model is aiming to construct and update a primary set of possible faults classifications. The purpose of time-frequency analysis is to refine the classification above by detecting the intimate changes within vibration. with the help of a time-frequency dictionary tuned on the fuzzy model. By learning, a knowledge basis can be built and upgraded depending on vibration signature inside the dictionary, in order to perform diagnosis.
