Reliability assessment of road network systems using genetic algorithm

摘要：
From the lesson of Hyogoken-Nanbu earthquake, it is recognized that system reliability assessment of road network is quite; important to evaluate the efficiency of road network under strong earthquakes. This paper attempts to develop a reliability analysis,method of road network using alternative paths found-by Genetic Algorithm. Two numerical application examples of road network shows that this method can provide useful information to make an appropriate decision on improvement problems of road networks.
