Efficient groundwater monitoring for underground and open-cast mining

摘要：
Comprehensive databases, respectively comprehensive data management and evaluation systems are the key aspects for efficient and sustainable groundwater monitoring. To serve quality controlled and reliable data with a high availability, one the one hand very specialized, one the other hand very user-friendly software solutions are required. The presented case studies describe the implementation of a comprehensive groundwater monitoring and bore log management system for a large salt and potassium mine, a web based water monitoring and early warning system for a railway tunnel construction, both in Germany as well as a groundwater and discharge monitoring and management system for an open-cast lignite mine in Turkey.
