Retraction: "Gastrin-releasing peptide receptor gene silencing inhibits the development of the epithelial-mesenchymal transition and formation of a calcium oxalate crystal in renal tubular epithelial cells in mice with kidney stones via the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway," by Xin-Fang Wang, Bei-Hao Zhang, Xiao-Qing Lu, and Rui-Qiang Wang: J Cell Physiol. 2019, 1567-1577. The above article, published online on 24 August 2018 in Wiley Online Library () has been retracted by agreement between the authors, the journal's Editor in Chief, Prof. Dr. Gregg Fields, and Wiley Periodicals LLC. The retraction has been agreed after the authors stated that unintentional errors occurred during the research process, and the experimental results cannot be verified. Thus, the conclusions are considered to be invalid.
