A new nucleic acid hybridizing assay, piezoelectric quartz-sensor which is capable of quantitative analysis has been established on the basis that the frequency of piezoelectric quartz vibration is the function to its surface sediment. The technique is simple, specific and sensitive up to 100 pg. It uses the rapid, sensitive frequency messages as the demonstration system of nucleic acid hybridization.
