摘要
A damage detection scheme is developed to locate and evaluate structural damage of multi-story buildings with torsion. The scheme is divided into two stages: vertical and horizontal damage detection. The vertical damage detection is concerned. with damaged stories in the whole structure. The horizontal damage detection deals with damaged walls in the damaged stories. An auto-regressive moving average (ARMA) model is used to identify the change in modal properties due to damage. An inverse modal perturbation is applied to estimate the location and extent of damage. A series of shaking table tests on undamaged and damaged model structures are performed. Numerical results are presented to show:the effectiveness and limitation of the proposed method by using random response data of shaking table tests.
