Simulation of Responses of Runoff and Sediment Yield to the Land-Cover Changes in Xixi watershed of Jinjiang Basin

摘要
In order to evaluate the influence of land-cover changes to runoff and sediment yield, the two different land-cover data (1985, 2001) in Xixi watershed of Jinjiang Basin are applied to the distributed SWAT (Soil and Water Assessment Tool) model. The study separately got quantitative results on the whole basin and subbasins. The results showed that the effects of land-cover change is small to the runoff yield, and is significant to the sediment yield on the whole basin. And the study of land-cover changes in subbasins indicates that the forest is most remarkable to decrease the runoff and sediment yield, the second is orchard, and followed by farmland and grassland, and construction land is most notable on the increase runoff and sediment yield.
