摘要：
In order to meet the rapid growth of distributed energy resources (DER), effective monitoring and integration of information from DER is becoming essential. Therefore, an innovative architecture of Internet of things (IoT) based IEC 61850 extensible messaging and presence protocol (XMPP) cloud platform is proposed and constructed in Taiwan Power Research Institute (TPRI) of Taiwan Power Company (TPC). In this paper, we describe IEC 61850 XMPP and security enhancements. We also describe the platform and site implementation is discussed as well. Performance analysis and lessons learned are conducted in this paper.
